 ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE:

All organizations need to change to survive and is difficult to change. Organizations really are social entities made up of people and form to achieve collective goals. The tasks an organization performs and tries to perform them routinely and thriving for efficiency will be a one of the characters. Organizational change means permanently altering patterns of organizational behavior. (Burke, 2002).

WHY DO ORGANIZATIONS HAVE TO CHANGE?

The internal and external environment of organizations is constantly changing; we have something called strategic drift if you keep your old strategy and if the environment changes they drift apart. Secondly, if they don’t change their survival is at stake. The change in the environment also provides opportunities; to become better in the end is a small step, but an important step to survival as well. So survival is the main point that creates the need to change. Under shifting environment we could have competition, customer behavior, and politics as examples. Then the company has to actually renew its strategy so new products and new markets and in an organization change the task, structure, politics should be changed. Organizational change is not an exception, but the change is everywhere. Organizational change is difficult to achieve only 30 percent of all change programmers actually succeed change transformation (Burke, 2002)

MODELS OF CHANGE:

It means you can handle and change the personal factors or you can take the second handle the organizational context and if you adjust them your are going to adjust the behavior of a person in an organization and personal factors comprised things like education age and personality, Organizational context like structure, politics and culture. Now what things would be easier to adapt personal factors to get a person to change or the organization context lets, have a look. (Normandin)
