Impacts of computers on education

The impact of computers is tremendous in especially in the 21st century. The introduction and incorporation of computers in various field of expertise has seen the need for enlightenment of the same. When it comes to the education sector computers have brought about a major difference both to the teachers and the learners, in terms of computing, analyzing, application and engagement from both the student and the teacher

Impacts to the teacher

        To the teachers computer acts as a teaching aid where by the teacher is able to use it as a storage devise thus reducing the bulk of notes. By using computers he or she is able to teach with much ease by using projector in class, giving out and receiving assignments from students. This in turn helps the teacher reach a larger audience unlike in the past. Their use has also led to the development of educational computer programs that enhance teaching and delivery from the teacher. They also enhance cloud computing where by a teacher is able to give out notes to all the students in his or her class with much ease.

Impacts to the students

To the learners computers makes the learning exercise more interesting thus concentration is very high. They also facilitate research on various fields through internet which broadens the scope of knowledge for student since they gather a lot of information from several different sources. The use of computer has also proved to be attention catching for instance when a teacher uses a computer and a projector in a class, the students will be drawn to the visual image that the projector creates and in the process incorporate what is being taught. This also engages students in the learning process
