PARENTS SHOULD NOT CANE THEIR CHILDREN. DO YOU AGREE?

        Most of Asians families are familiar with the terms of caning their children to teach. Some parents say it is absolutely necessary in order to discipline their children to become better person. But there are also parents who think that caning their children may result to negative impacts in their lives in future. To cane or not to cane has become a popular debate in the society when there is a rule regarding punishment for the parents who cane their children.

        Disciplining children is a tough job for every parents. When their children makes mistakes or errors in their behaviour such as rude to the guests and do not want to go to school, punishment is crucial for them to make sure the children did not make the same mistakes over and over again. But what kind of punishment is acceptable? Many parents results to nagging and make angry faces for their children and some may use cane to teach their children that they should not make mistakes like that. But caning is often associate with child abuse because the parents may physically implicit harm to the body of their kids. Some may argue that their children deserves the pain to learn. And some may claim that children should not ever be harmed.

        Children often makes mistakes just to make parents annoy and pay attention to them. Then the parents may just cane their children and be solve the problem. That is the wrong way to teach the children the lesson. Parents should talk to their children about what is right and wrong and not just cane their children without showing them the ways of rightfulness. The children just wants attention and love from their parents and parents should give their children as many love and attention as possible. Parents nowadays are often busy with work that they did not pay to their children the right amount of attention they needed.
