As the living standard of society increases continuously, the daily lifestyles of individual will automatically transform to become better and more demanding in every circumstance. For instance, they would like to have a better quality air-condition to keep their houses, shops or company room temperatures cooling so that they concentrate and do their works in a comfortable condition.

When the income level rises, society tends to spend more and leads the total consumption to be increase. Research shows that people consume more because they can get benefit from using the high quality goods and services (Hamilton, Richard and David 2005, 8). When the consumption is high, it means the need of electricity is important because producers need it to run the business to provide goods and services to their customers.

Consumption of Societies Increases the Demand of Energy Usage

Consumers are willing to spend their money to purchase for high quality goods and services. To meet the demand of consumers, the suppliers will produce more goods and services for their customers intend to satisfy their customers need and wants. In addition, this may become one of the methods to increase the sales and profits of the company. As a result, it will increase the usage of energy.

For these reasons, the demand of energy arises constantly and it causes the problem of meeting future energy demand to be appeared. For those countries who do not have energy supply, they may need to depend on those countries who have energy supply plant to provide energy source to them (Carpignano, Chiara and Francesco 2011, 81).

Effect of Energy Consumption
