This case study is related to manual processes and the amount of errors that occur during the process. After reviewing and analyzing the processes, we recommend for the company to adopt an MIS (Management Information System) to help with the issues and correct the mistakes easier and faster. With the help of the MIS system, LT. INC will be able to update their records easily and across all platforms. This real time change will allow all parties involve gaining access to the most up to date information. If the customer is new they can create a new profile and input their information into the database. This will eliminate source of error from staff members. The MIS system will also be able to provide the customers order history so that the company can gain knowledge of the customers need and the customer will be able to just order the same material as before if needed. Using RFIDs, the company can keep track of the customer’s order within each stage and ensure that the customer is always aware of where their order is and when they will be charged for their order. Regulations within the process and monitoring the processes will allow the company to improve their processes and make the MIS system error free.
