Doris Drugdealer was arrested at 19 with a 10-20 year sentence for drugs. She escaped and was free for 34 years until she was caught by her fingerprints. The undercover drug officers extradited her back to Michigan to do her years and now, her family wants the governor to grant her clemency.

2. Describe the values and point of view of Doris Drugdealer.

Doris has grown into a clean, respectable woman. As a teenager, she was brave because she sold drugs then she escaped from prison. Doris also lived with the risk every day. She believes in government ethics and accountability. Doris Drugdealer is no longer the drugdealer and has faith that her children will be better than her. She is not selfish. Doris cares for her children and everyone else’s well-being.

3. Describe the values and point of view of her husband.

Her husband really loves her. He says that she has the highest integrity and compassion. He does not hate her for her actions because she has completely changed. Her husband is calm and appreciative.
