Critical Thinking and Ethics

Critical thinking and ethics are somewhat similar. Critical thinking and ethics are used with everyday activities and are very important.  Critical thinking is a way that a mind is used to think rationally and clearly on what is going on or what someone believes. Being a critical thinker means that you are a good problem solver and a good thinker. While using ethics is a form of gathering information to make sure what you are talking about is accurate, instead of using assumptions and is also used for having a good behavior.  For example, if someone quits a job where you work and your boss wants you to cover that area that you have not worked before, then you will have to use critical thinking. By asking yourself, how will the person that was working there finish the work every day or how would your boss want you to complete the work until the area is covered? By asking yourself these questions, that shows that you are a good critical thinker and good problem solver. Also in this situation, you will use ethics to keep a good behavior to get the job done.

There are six step to use when using critical thinking. The first step is to have knowledge. Which is to know what the problem may be and how to solve the situation. The second step is comprehension. It is always best to understand the problem once you figure out what the problem may be. The third step is application. You will use this step to help with the second step to solve the situation by using information and resources. The fourth step is to analyze. To anazlye a situation is to put all the information that you have gathered together to solve the problem. By putting all the weak points together and the strong points together. The fifth step is synthesis. Once you have analyzed the information and collected all of the information that you may need then a decision should be made on how the problem should be solved. The sixth step is to take action. When taking action, it helps to evaluate the problem. These steps will help with critical thinking and to solve a problem.
