For example, the conservatives are supportive of religious power but doubt union power - whereas the liberals believe in the opposite and both parties do agree on there being superiors and inferiors supported by the fact that they both believe in the middle class as a social class for individuals in society. Both parties believe in boundless economic growth and equality of opportunities regarded of race, gender or really just beliefs - in theory, both parties more or less believe in the same basic theories.

Although considered to have many similarities, both differ a lot from each other. The liberals value social programmes which benefit community growth. They also believe in providing the community and the individual with the resources they need to succeed whereas the conservatives believe that the government should not be providing everything as it makes them reliant - they need to make there own decisions in terms of taxes and child care. Another major difference between the two is that the liberals are all for progression and modernizing - shown by there support of enhancing unique and diverse multicultural communities whereas the conservative party are more focused on tradition.
