As we can see, more and more graduates now are forced to take up relatively low-class jobs such as selling pork, and that indicates the amount of university graduates has exceeded the society's demand for elite jobs. For example, the manufacturing industry in southern China is in great need of technicians, but our education system does not provide such amount of graduates. Therefore, students graduate from industrial schools may be more popular than those from highly recognized universities. Another fact is that universities nowadays are not like those in the past, for the university education has changed from elite education to public education. Most of the universities in China have increased enrollment and that basically leads to the consequence of more graduates with lower quality. Thus, if we regard the university graduates as elite group in the old days, they are nothing more than common laborers with relatively higher competency. However, the public view of university graduates hasn't catch up with the reality yet. That is why people will still be astonished when hearing the news like university graduates selling pork in the market. There is no doubt that the society should do something to cope with the situation so as to provide a more tolerant public environment when graduates are choosing their jobs. That's easier said than done because it's a tradition for Chinese people to regard university graduates as elite ones and this concept has been rooted in people's mind for a long period of time.

As far as I'm concerned, for the objective part, both specific government department and the university itself should take measures to convert, or rather update, public perspective.

For the government side, it should advocate correct view towards employment. As the Ministry of Education has announced recently that universities should provide guidance to graduates and help them to have a clear perception of the current job market. In addition, graduates should be confident with themselves and establish the view of choosing a job after taking a job and of different jobs are equal and honorable.
