Abstract

When coming into 21 century, the business is not only a business in one country. It is a global business. The goal of market-oriented economic activities behaviors is the pursuit of interest and profit. Every decision a company make will change its role in the whole international market. In other words, one company’s strategies will influence other companies’ strategies. Good Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) can help to promote the sales of existing products, and get the support of the public. Thus, the characteristics of modern CEOs are becoming a very important factor in a company’s decision. The CEOs as the main decision maker must have access to control the new trend. Thus, the characteristics of modern CEOs are important. These characteristics will become a guide for modern CEOs to point out the company strategy in the global market. The key term that will be discussed is the characteristics of modern CEOs.

The Key Characteristics of Modern CEOs

The power of market-oriented economy’s perfection and development not only contains objective economic conditions factor, but also contains non-economic factors. Various systems that are explored by society, once it is accepted by the public can be seen as justice. The goal of market-oriented economic activities behaviors is the pursuit of interest and profit. These specific activities behaviors include the need for interpersonal relationship, especially coordination. This coordination cannot be separated from personal characteristics restriction, and is also a subject of social economic activity. The person’s ability and moral quality will directly affect the realization of the interests. History and reality shows that if one uses pure economic vision to organize economic, it is difficult to achieve desired goals. Although achieved with pure economic vision at that time, it is still difficult to consolidate. The formulation and implementation to policy of economic activities must reflect some values and moral principles. Therefore, economic activity inherently contains personal activities.

Background

Overarching global forces are driving global trends. These forces are growing in present and will transform in the future.
