Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE) virtual reality headset for PlayStation 4, Project Morpheus, is in the final stages of production, to be release first half of 2016; in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. The VR headset is set to a have large, 5.7-inch OLED display, full HD resolution (1920 X 1080p), refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a “super low latency,” according to gametech.com, of less than 18 milliseconds. The field of view for someone wearing Project Morpheus is 100 degrees and has nine LEDs designed for the PS4 to better track the headsets movements.

With the Morpheus VR Headset, you are able experience nearly anything you wish. Financial and time constraints are no more, as you can travel across the world feel what it is like to stand in front of Great Pyramids, Eiffel Tower, and Niagara Falls, just name a few.

"It could be anywhere. It could be a virtual space, or a real place that's here on Earth. Everyone would like to visit somewhere else, whether it be Mars or Hogwarts, and just feeling like you're standing in a place like that is really the killer experience," said Richard Marks, who is involved in developing Sony's Project Morpheus headset.

All it takes to experience thrills of a life time, is turning on Sony PlayStation 4 and Morpheus headset and the possibilities are endless. And the best part of virtual reality, is never having to leave the comfort of your own home.

"Morpheus will effectively be in the living room so we're building around that space, we've always designed for the living room. Like, you've got a coffee table here - you might move that out the way - but we're not going to ask people to move all the furniture. So we'll design from that perspective." said game developing director, Dave Ranyard.
