Owning a business is a huge responsibility that takes a lot of work, dedication and determination which is aimed at the productive part of the business to ensure that it strives and gains profit. The business system is a combination of commerce, occupation and organization that results in the production and distribution of goods (Jones 2012). In simple terms, these are the key necessary components a business owner should incorporate and model their business from.

A local business that I frequently use is Walgreens. Walgreens is a worldwide company that is not just located in my neighborhood. This company services a large amount of customers throughout America by strategically placing the stores in easily accessible locations. I live in San Antonio, Texas and at almost every other corner there is a Walgreens which provide consumers the products they need. Walgreens business is commerce is trade, in which they purchase products and display them in their stores for customers to buy. Walgreens has a wide variety of merchandise that consists of household items, seasonal items and groceries.

Walgreens business occupation is compiled of many different and innovative ways to display and target their audience which keeps their selection appealing to consumers. This company has devoted customers that enjoy the services that are provided by their employees. This is why Walgreens is able to sell the same products they sell at other stores like Wal-Mart and HEB, at higher prices that customers are willing to purchase.
