Financial statements are the lens through which the financial performance of an organization is evaluated. However, traditional financial statements often fail to provide a clear view of the actual performance of a firm due to various limitations. Thus, it becomes necessary for a financial analyst to reformulate these statements in a manner befitting the purpose of valuation.
