There have been multiple incidents that have happened around the globe and one of the first responses to any situation is none other than the red cross. From Katrina to the hurricanes in Oklahoma to the school shootings to even overseas in Peru the red cross has been there in all of the situations trying to provide care and hope to lost individuals. No matter whom is in the accident or natural disaster they will help. There is no check for religion or culture or race, their ethical values go above and beyond the call of duty and distress. Being able to respond to social communities and be able to maintain a level of respect and commitment to excellence is something that the red cross hangs its hat on. There are communities that need and deserve their help and Americans are glad to be able to contribute and help anyone who needs the help and also bring that person or family some hope beyond belief. I for one believe that an origination that supports my views on ethical values is something that can be looked apron with great praise and humanity. Being able to just help people and not judge them by race or belief is something that is very important to me being a black man in modern society. Being in this world for as long as I have I can relate to situations where people were and were not helped due to who they were and where they came from. I have seen people die from gunshot wounds and also seen someone beat to death and it is a shame to see that happened to anyone let alone not get the help they need. I think the red cross is a place where I could go regardless of what I look like and where I’m from and they would give me the attention I need to be helped or given medicine. Just by the amount of support this company receives throughout the world is proof enough that it is well renowned and well respected around the globe for me to be able to seek the attention I need or my family needs in case of a natural disaster. This company is proven to be one of the best in the world and I believe that it connects with my ethical values about race, belief, or culture. There have been so many world events and along with FEMA this has been the most consistent and ever growing organization and I can’t give them enough praise for what they do along with all the men and women who volunteer to help others it’s a wonderful thing.
