Security in Cyberspace

Consider some of the tradeoffs regarding security and convenience in Cyberspace; is it possible to strike an appropriate or reasonable balance? What implication does your answer have for tradeoffs involving computer security and considerations of convenience?

Nowadays, the development of information technology is very quick. Many new technology have developed everyday such as Octopus, online banking, online shopping etc. It show that human property not only exist in our real world, but also

exist in the virtual world (Cyberspace). It is no doubt that new technology have change our life , allow us to become more convenient but , on the other hand, those technology also lead us lack of protect our property consciousness. Many cyber crimes like information steal always happen in our daily life. Thus, security in Cyberspace becomes one of the important topic which consider by the society. Then, you may ask that how to balance the security and convenience in Cyberspace? In fact, someone think that convenience is more important since they are always shopping or investment on the internet, if too many security will obstruct the investment which is go against the statement ” time is equal to money in business world”. Therefore, they are usually against using too much security. On the contrary, those people think that security is more significant because they just want to protect their privacy. They are worry about hacking and password steal but don’t care the convenicence.Thus, they are very concern about the security. From the above information, it must be true that both of the two sides have their own points, so in the following paragraphs, we will discuss about the balance between the security and convenience in Cyberspace and also how to implicate between the both sides.

From the beginning, it is important to know that what is Cyberspace. In fact, Cyberspace is the nonphysical environment created by joined computers interoperating on a network. It is very similar whern compare between the real world and computer operation interact. The one of the different is thar cyberspace interaction does not require physical movement beyond typing. We can also control the time of information exchange and people can do anything such as shopping, explore, research, share, play or work. Now, surfing in the Cyberspace become very popular since user can find any information form the Internet. Therefore, more and more online crime happening in this few years. Thus, people is gradually concern about security, so you now know that why people start thinking about the balance between the convenience and security in Cyberspace
