Primarily you will be learning face to face with Blackboard site used to disseminate materials, to provide you access to for you to participate in online discussion forums. Also the course is delivered through lectures and tutorials. Our lectures will introduce you to the key concepts and theories and will will focus students’ attention on the key topics from the text Jay Heizer and Barry Render ‘Operations Management’ 10th edition Pearson. The lecture notes in the form of powerpoint slides are provided on the Blackboard. It is suggested that the students access these materials regularly. It is expected that the students will upgrade their understanding of the materials provided on the Blackboard by studying the relevant chapter/s from the prescribed text. Tutorials are used to build your critical thinking by examining a series of different questions and real problems.
