"A TRIP FOR MOTHER NATURE"

It was time to face the audience and fourteen of us were about to performed. After a day of preparation, rehearsal and making of costumes, the event before this occasion kept on flashing back on my head.

What excites me that time was when my teachers told me that they have chosen me as one of the representative of our school for the YES Camp. It excited me a lot most especially when I have known that the venue will be in Baguio. It was a big opportunity for me to go in Baguio, since it was also my first time.

I found a little hard time in drying my wet clothes which I needed to bring in the camp, and it took me long hours to wait. I rested for a while and packed my things. After having my dinner I then went to the Division Office of Makati. Others were already been there when I had arrived. We waited for a few moments for others to come and then everybody gathered to the bus.

On our way to Baguio, we have witnessed the scenery of the darkness. It casts the beauty of the fields at nighttime and dispersed the essence of the green fields in the air.

It took eight hours in reaching Baguio, and while traveling, I had time meeting new friends, students from different school, inside the bus. I had only sleep in few hours because most of the trip, I am wide awake. I feel not comfortable in my seat that is why I didn't have a tight sleep.

The next day, after we had eaten our breakfast, we had our practice. My fellow students have already discussed what contest we would join while we had a long stop in waiting for an available apartelle. What contest we had joined is the Sayawit that is why the day before, some of our co-students who is also from Makati composed a piece, a song which is actually related in taking care of the environment while the others try to make our costumes. That's why we got a reason why we hadn't attended seminars conducted by different speakers.

That day, every one of us, the students, had chosen Luntiang Pilipinas Forest Park as our venue for the rehearsal. Afterwards, it was time for lunch and after taking our lunch, we went back to our place to get the materials we had bought and brought from the mall. The materials were needed for making the costumes. We had a little time remaining for the practice in order to master the song and the dance steps.

We practice and rehearse again and again until the time
