As we transitioned from ancient Egypt to ancient Greece, we saw how there were similarities between the epic poems with divine intervention. After doing some research and deciding to read The Aeneid, there were also similarities with gods. Aeneas, who is a survivor of Troy, is on a journey to reach Italy from Troy to find the Roman race. Within The Aeneid, there is a strong urge to present a world in which wars are glorious and the gods have a direct hand in human events and these deities influence fate.
