STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

What gets measured gets managed”.

 I am a person of technical aptitude and an interest in management. I also have a passion for traveling and understanding different cultures of the world. All these elements have given me a very broad outlook, with varying degrees of knowledge in a range of topics. I strongly believe that although some are not related directly, all these qualities will influence my graduate work. The pursuit of knowledge drives me to apply for Graduate study far away from home at your esteemed University.

I learnt basic management skills at a very early stage of my life. My father provided me with the motivation and was a source of knowledge. The way he managed the work, family and even problems was always an enlightening experience for me. My interest towards management developed working at my father’s import house.

 

The roles of management professionals are become more important today than ever before. Good management consists in showing average people how to do the work of superior people. It is making solutions so constructive that everyone gets to work and deal with them. These professionals have to facilitate a radical change in the way of communication and developing interpersonal skills. Moreover there is also fall in credibility, which also needs to be restored. I see myself, as a Management Professional, using marketing and communication as an actionable tool, incorporating cutting edge methodologies, getting the needed results while saving time, money and in turn growing the brand.

I feel glad while applying for Master of Business Administration at your reputed university. Since my school days I was very much interested in management field and it will be very beneficial for me to study management in your university. I always admire the roles and responsibility of management people, the way they handle the presentations to the senior authority and how they interact to the customers and solve their problems whenever required. My educational qualifications include B.Tech. in Information and Telecommunication from SRM University, Chennai and higher secondary education from Narayana Jr College, Hyderabad. I had Personality Development as a part of my curriculum during graduation, which is the foremost requirement expected of a good and successful manager as it emphasizes on grooming the overall personality. I have also studied Engineering Economics and Management which have given me an insight about various managerial aspects.
