Dodgeball Rules 2012
1. 10 people on the court at a time, you must have 3 girls on to start.
2. No shots above the shoulders
3. You can use a ball to deflect a throw, but the ball is still live if it bounces off. So if it hits your player after it's deflected they are out or if it is caught off a deflection the thrower is out.
4. The ball is dead when it hits the floor or walls
5. Don't argue with the referee, or you will be disqualified.
Round Robin Point System
For each game played a win=1 point and a loss=0 points.
At the end of each game the number of players remaining on the court will be recorded. The losing team will have zero players each time for their final score.
Tie Breakers
A two way tie will be broken by the head to head record.
If there is more than a three way tie then the remaining players plus minus will be used. The team with the highest score will move on to the semi final. If it is still tied after that, it is a one minute sudden death overtime round.
Start with 10 people on the court on each side and after one minute the team with the most players will advance.
