The customer profile is a key factor while developing a marketing plan. In the accounting and tax preparation services the customer profile is very wide. This services have to be provided to basically every single person. The law requires all citizen to file tax returns the fifth teen of the four month after the closing of the fiscal year and if not done, penalties and fine will have to be paid.
Gender
In the accounting and tax preparation business all male or female have to file a tax return. Therefore, the service company has to concentrate in the accounting services for all customers of every gender. Taxes are file once a year, accounting services has to be offer to the customers because this services are performed in a monthly basis.
Age and Marital Status
The age of the customer has to be over eighteen years old because tax filing is done for clients or customers that are generating seven thousand dollars per year. This is the age range for the tax preparation services. In the case of accounting services, the age will range from twenty-four and over. Must of the accounting clients over this age could be self-employed. The marital status is not an issue for the accounting and tax preparation services, because all marital status has to receive this kind of services.
Income and Education. The clients of the tax preparation services have to be generating over seven thousand a year and over, for this services to be rendered. In the accounting services, the clients have to generate over thirty thousand a year and over to afford a monthly accounting service. This services can be provided to usually professionals, which have a Bachelor’s degree and over.
Lifestyle. The lifestyle of the professionals that are served by this kind of services does not affect the customer profile, because it is part of every company or persons the accounting process and specially the tax preparation, since it is require by law.
