Due to the lack of will to pay full attention to ones surroundings when driving, and the pull to drive even though one may not be at the proper mental and physical state, it is no coincidence that automobile accidents are often associated with a high mortality rate. Furthermore, the numbers of deaths that have occurred through automobile accidents are constantly rising. What’s shocking is that most of these accidents could have been prevented, if given the proper amount of attention. Even though these statistics are tragic, there are numerous steps we can take to ensure the safety of ourselves and others when driving.
