Administrative Interview

        Rady Children's Hospital is a located is San Diego. The hospital is designed, equipped, and staffed just for children. They offer developmental screening for children ages zero thru five years of age. The hospital has been voted one of the top ten hospitals nationwide in multiple departments.        

The person interviewed and position in the company.

Liliana Klug is a treatment coordinator for Rady Children’s Hospital. Liliana has worked in the hospital environment for over fifteen years. As a treatment coordinator, it is her job to ensure families obtain treatment for physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and audiology services. Liliana processes referrals and explain procedures to the families. She seats down with the families and explain the medical treatments that they will be receiving and also discusses the frequency and duration of treatment. Process incoming referrals and paperwork received from medical offices are part of her job duties.

Organizational Expectations

        Rady Children’s Hospital mission statement is, “To restore, sustain and enhance the health and developmental potential of children through excellence in care, education, research and advocacy,” (2015). Their vision is, "to be a leader, recognized nationally and internally, for excellence in patient care, education, research, and advocacy," (" Rady Children’s Hospital", 2015). Liliana believes in the high values that Rady Children’s Hospital states in their mission statement and vision. When making decision’s she considers these values, knowing they will have an impact on the patient, staff, management, and the hospital.
