Pros and Cons of School Uniforms

Even though it's twice as more pros than cons of wearing school uniforms, some students may still agree more with the cons than the pros.

One of the obvious pros of wearing school uniforms is the decrease in bullying(http://kidsfashion.about.com/od/doityourselfstyles/tp/The-Pros-Of-School-Uniforms-Why-Students-Should-Wear-School-Uniforms.htm) . Of course there aren't going to be any bullying going on about what someone is wearing to school because 4 out of 5 days of the school week, more than half of students have the exact same school colors on that day. That still doesn't stop a real bully from bullying another student. A real bully is going to go all throughout the day finding something else to pick on another student for.

Another pro of wearing school uniforms is that it's easier to enforce the school uniform policy when all of the students are supposed to be in the same thing. So if students aren't supposed to wear colorful jackets and one of 200 students has on a colorful jacket it's going to be easier to point them out than it would be if they were not wearing uniforms.

There are many more pros than can be discussed but moving on to the cons of wearing school uniforms. Some students feel as though that they are being limited of their self expression because they can't dress the way that they feel because they're being forced to dress how someone else wants them to dress(http://kidsfashion.about.com/od/doityourselfstyles/tp/The-Arguments-Against-School-Uniforms.htm). There isn't one person that it just like the next because everyone is different so the limit of self expression can be an understanding con of wearing school uniforms.
