Whole foods or no food!

Many people do not realize the bad effects fast food has on them.

First of all the health aspect of consuming fast food on a daily basis. While a burger at Burger King may taste great it is not optimal if you want to keep your health in a good condition. That is because the food they serve is produced in a way to keep the cost for the company as low as possible. To make matters worse, the burgers and fries etc. at Burger King are filled with unhealthy fats and trans fats. As a matter of fact, many cases of overconsumption of fast foods have lead to obesity and this is a huge problem especially in the U.S. However I do understand that people who live busy lives may not always have the time to go home and cook a nutritious dinner.

Furthermore, we head down to the nutritious reasons. Undoubtedly you can not get all the nutrition your body craves through eating fast food compared to whole food which is nutrition dense. In fact, studies have shown that even low-calorie fast foods, which are very high in sodium can lead to an increased blood pressure. Similar to an increased blood pressure diabetes is also linked with an abnormal consumption of fast food, since the excess amount of sugar that has to be handled by the insulin in your body.

In conclusion, food at home is cooked with love, whole foods, and proper groceries. Eating at Burger King or any other fast-food chain once in awhile will not lead to a heart failure, but too often is not healthy in the long run. Obviously, it is not like you have to get an exact amount of carbohydrates, fats, and protein but eating food cooked with whole foods will definitely make it a whole lot easier. Rather than just eating burgers at burger king.
