Choosing the sphere of education is a very important decision and have a lasting impact on personal and professional life. There are many degrees and certificate programs of a number of major's list would be appropriate, but the truth is, many students select a major based on their emotions or a very limited set of criteria, sometimes just an instinctive feeling. However, each person needs to consider criteria when choosing a major, they are based on their own interests, also to take into account that the cost of training, future wages, the demand for a profession and job opportunities.

Selection of major should reflect who a person really is and what he or she wants to become. This means that the profession should be based on the interests, achievements, point of view, strengths, and weaknesses. If a person chooses a career based on the interest and success during education, then there is a great chance of enjoying the future profession. For example, if the man decided to get a profession in the field of the economy because it is profitable work and can bring success, but this man was not strong in math at school and/or college, it is likely that this person will not achieve a great success, and the risk is unlikely to be justified. One of the most important aspects when choosing a sphere of activity - is the realization of strengths and weaknesses. Some profession may seem very attractive because of the salary and status, but if it does not match the capabilities and abilities of a person, the choice of this profession is not relevant. That is, person need to be able to properly weigh the skills, talents, and weak sides not only in education, but also in character, which can interfere with work. So, this is not a good idea to spend time and money on major, which ultimately lead nowhere. There are such cases when the person has an interest to a particular specialty, but he or she has no skill or knowledge to choose it, or vice versa, a person has the necessary experience and ability to learn, but there is no interest to select one or another major. Sometimes happens that a person is interested in studying and he or she has an interest in getting a career, but after analyzing the demand for this specialty all work that can be done on the way to success will be in vain.
