Introduction

The development of a language is a social process, influenced mostly by the young generation. We can clearly observe this phenomenon at the turn of the centuries, in the time of newcomputer technologies. Without a doubt, concerning this issue, the Ukrainian language is under the influence of the English language.

The computer terminology demands scrutiny because it penetrates into every sphere of our life and is used by more and more people. The terminology system in the field of computer technologies belongs to the youngest ones, having come into being only at the end of the 20th century. Moreover, it is very dynamic, as a lot of new lexical items appear to denote innovations in this sphere. Since the United States were and still are the leaders in this field, naturally the primary nomination takes place in English [4].

With the development of computer technology in Ukraine also began to take shape specific language that talked geek professionals.Distribution of personal computers and Internet creation attracted to this area the general public, who embraced and enriched the computer language. Relatively young age of specialists engaged in the field of professional activity and the popularity of computers among young people who are inclined to use slang expressions, set the fashion for them among users.

The purpose of this study is contrastive analysis of  computer professionalism  in English and Ukrainian language.
