Badminton is a sport that many people enjoy playing and forming a bond over as it is an easy sport to learn and equally enjoyable to partake in. It is often practiced as an outdoor game. The sport’s appeal lies in its versatility. In addition, badminton is above all an intensive sport which requires technical skills and endurance.

Badminton was my first sport growing up. Until now, I still play it with enthusiasm and love. Gladly, badminton is not just some sport I do on a whim. It is also a teacher which helps guide me the most important lessons that I should take on in life.

Playing badminton keeps me feeling well, strong, motivated, and enthusiastic. It helps me ward off depression, anxiety, stress and it increases my self-esteem.

One of the bad habits many players fall into is swinging too hard on smashes. I mostly encountered on expending too much energy and losing control over my placement. The key here is to work on aspects of the game that you feel are lacking. Go back to the fundamentals, and ultimately find what works best.

Playing badminton was an incredible learning experience, and definitely played a huge part in helping me develop into the person I am today. By participating in this particular sport I learned about Work Ethic. Players who work hard to get better at their chosen sport results in progression meanwhile, a player who does not work as hard may not see the same kind of progress.

Nearly all players have negative outcomes from time to time. The growth comes from the player who accepts it and keeps playing and attempts to get better. When you overcome adversity, you learn that life isn't always easy and it's best to stay with difficult tasks and conquer them rather than take the easy way out.
