The Los Angeles Wave is an exciting new franchise entering the National Football League. As the marketing director for the team, I am proposing multiple marketing techniques that will help us achieve not only financial success but will help draw attention an popularity to the team. We will examine marketing strategies such as the halo effect, permanent seat licenses, celebrity endorsements as well as a S.W.O.T analysis. Also, the color combination of the Wave will also be examined. The Wave is centrally located in Los Angeles, California, a location that is known for providing high-caliber winning teams. If the fans apply the halo effect to the Wave, we can reach a plethora of avid fans that want to see another winning organization in the greater Southern California region. Because of the success of other teams in Los Angeles, fans will associate success to the Wave. As a new team in the NFL, the Wave organization needs to sell tickets, a part of those ticket sales include permanent seat licenses. By establishing permanent seat licenses, the Wave can ensure positive fan attendance. The biggest influence for the Wave and a key to their success is obviously their location. Being located in Los Angeles provides the organization with a lot of unique opportunities. One opportunity that the Wave can tap into is celebrity endorsers. All sorts of celebrities live in Los Angeles and it would be great if the Wave could have some mainstream celebrities promote the team. Having celebrities endorse the team would help draw attention to the team and would definitely increase ticket sales and the overall perception of the team. This could cause a short-term popularity boost
