Executive Summary
The Government of Mallorca looking into the future to implement more renewable energies instead of oil based energy is requiring an energy control system where Mallorca Automation Energy takes place. In order to provide, install and run a new, unique and efficient device will be developed that will manage the utilization of the three main energy sources (solar, wind and oil) those are currently used by the Mallorca Electric Energy Company in terms of 2 years.
Time line: The project will be divided into six phases based on chart (appendix). In order to improve the proficiency, the first two phases (concept and design) will be done in parallel.
Mission & Scope
Provide a dependable and expandable Energy Automation System that will manage the utilization of the three main energy sources (solar, wind and oil) those are currently used by the Mallorca Electric Energy Company in terms of 2 years with a budget for 12M €.
According to our quality standards, the acceptance criteria is the following: Do not have power cuts for 1 year, reduce 10% of oil consumption for that period of time, to ensure at least 40% of solar energy, to acquire appropriate materials according to the island’s climate conditions, and to guarantee 0% of accidents in the installation and startup of equipment.

Resources and Budget
Human resources: 52 personal qualified: engineer staff, assistants, HSE staff, and financial staff.
Budget: 12,000,000.00 EUR.

Contracting
We will sign contracts with third parties for installation and testing. There are supplier contracts with the respective suppliers for delivery of the parts which also includes packing and shipment. In addition, there are insurance policies to cover any unexpected damage or situation.
Communication
The project manager is in charge for the group communication and he is responsible to assure the right workflow for each subproject.
