  1. Learning & Performance Goals

Our primary goal is to learn how to apply organizational behavior to our jobs and develop an understanding of how it influences business. We will work together to deliver timely and superior quality assignments and hope to contribute to the success of our cohort by sharing our experiences and learning from others. Individually, we strive to learn just as much from each other as from the class readings and lectures.

  1. Team Roles

We have agreed upon roles that highlight everyone’s unique strengths.

  1. Timetable for Deliverables

We will ensure all group members have the opportunity both to individually review deliverables and also collaborate in-person multiple days in advance in order to guarantee we have enough time for edits. We will allow time for brainstorming/planning in the initial phases of the project, so all time spent in the weeks leading up to due dates can be focused on ensuring thoroughness and quality. The assignment will be complete two full days prior to the due date in order to give all group members an opportunity for final review.

Once the specific assignment is given, we will assess what is required and then set a detailed schedule for deliverables.

  1. Attendance

Mandatory weekly meetings will be scheduled at least one week in advance. The specific day will be agreed upon depending on everyone’s availability. Additional meetings will be scheduled depending on the workload. If in-person attendance is not possible, virtual meetings can be scheduled.

  1. Task Performance & Quality

Each member will complete their assigned task(s) in a timely manner. Deliverables should be professional and maintain the highest quality. This means that the necessary thought, analysis, and proper citation is included.

  1. Idea Contributions

Each team member is expected to contribute ideas through brainstorming and discussion to help accomplish the assigned task. We will learn from each other’s experiences and build upon individual ideas. The best way to optimize our diverse backgrounds is through the free-flowing of thoughts.

  1. Cooperation

The most important aspect of teamwork is cooperation. Each member will be expected to demonstrate cooperation by abiding by the norms and expectations established in this charter. If, for any reason, a team member is unable to meet expectations, it should be communicated in a timely manner to the rest of the team. Group members should work together to identify and remove barriers, request help if needed, and contribute to the group’s discussions and deliverables.
