Reflection Paper:

  1. An Overview of Human Behavior in Organization

Human Behavior is simply how each person in the organization behaves and understanding communication within the company. It is more on the traits of the people, their behaviors, what they expect from the organization and what do the organization expect from them, how to develop their skills and enhance their personal growth to achieve the company’s goals and objectives.

  1. Individual Differences, mental Ability, and Attribution

We all know that each one of us have individual differences. Even marriage can lead to marital indifferences that leads to divorce. It is just a matter of understanding and coping up the barriers (gender, culture, or age) to make an organization a great place to work. There are also persons who are high in intelligence quotient but low in emotional quotient or the opposite. I prefer to have a high E.Q but with not so high I.Q because nowadays, we can google everything and try to be smart but with E.Q it is more on our attitude in dealing with people or handling different situations.

  1. Learning, Perception, and Attribution

Learning never stops especially when we work. I once thought that after I finish my college degree, I will never have to read books or study but I was wrong. When I started in our company, I have to start from the bottom and learn everything from the work of rack and file, to being a management trainee until where I am in now. There will be continuous trainings and seminars to equip me with the constant change the business world is making. All of us are learning every day because everything is changing from the technologies, the policies, and even the attitude of people.

  1. Values, Attitudes and Job Satisfaction

Each company has its own values. These values shape the company and defines what the company is really all about as a whole. This are also the kind of employees that the company wants to have and their ways of working. For example, the values of Mondelez International are to inspire trust, act like owners, keep it simple, discuss decide deliver, tell it like it is, open and inclusive and lead from the head and the heart, this should also be true on how their employees are treated and how they will treat their distributors or dealers. Great companies call for excellent employees and customer satisfaction will follow. How do employees learn all these values from the company? It is through how the company treats its employees and the behavior of employees will slowly change and molds into what the company are expecting them to be. But each person has its own attitude where even though how good they are treated by the company, but the person has different goals and is not aligned with the company goals, conflict will slowly arise and then he will never feel a job satisfaction in his work. Job satisfaction is important in one’s being because it makes you achieve great results in your performance and it will not create stress and burn out. As the saying goes, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
