Milka chocolate

Chocolate a processed, typically sweetened food produced from the seed of the tropical Theobroma cacao tree. The cacao tree is native to Mesoamerica, where they began to domesticate. Cacao has been cultivated for at least three millennia in Mexico, Central America and Northern South America. Cocoa cultivation and consumption, makes the chocolate gain social relevance, religious, medical, political and economic in various societies. Its spread, acceptance and diffusion throughout the world are such that at present there is no region where its influence has not arrived.

Milka chocolate is a brand of the company Kraft Foods since 2012 Mondelēz International Inc. James L. Kraft founded the company in 1903 as a cheese company. Kraft became part of Philip Morris Companies Inc. since 1988. On 1 October 2012, Kraft Foods Inc. spun off its snacks and confections business to a new company called Mondelēz International, Inc. The reason for this name change is the division of Kraft Foods in North American supermarket supplier and a global snack brand. The name of Kraft Foods Group is used for the supermarket operations. In short, Kraft Food is made in 1903 and re-made in 2012. Mondelēz International, Inc. is one of the world’s largest snacks companies, with global net revenues of $35 billion in 2012. Mondelēz International, Inc. is an American multinational confectionery and employees around 100,000 people around the world. The mission of Mondelēz International is to “Make today delicious”. To fulfill this mission, Mondelēz International focuses on consumers on every step of their everyday activities. Their core values are; innovation, quality, safety, respect, integrity and openness. Mondelēz International leverages their competitive advantages to achieve two goals, which are to consistently delivering top-tier growth, and to be a great place to work. In 1901 the chocolatier Philippe Suchard brought in Neuchatel (Switzerland), the first milk chocolate on the market under this name. The brand Milka has a well-known symbol: the "Milka cow". Remarkably, this cow is her lilac color and "Alpenkoeienbel" around her neck. The name "Milka" is a combination of the words Milch and Kakao (the German terms for milk and cocoa, the main ingredient of milk chocolate). The second most famous mascot "Milka" was Peter Steiner, known as the "It's Cool Man". Milka chocolate is produced today in locations such like Bludenz, Braşov, Costa Rica, Belgium, Argentina and Jankowice.
