Successfully naming a brand is a vital part of strategic brand development. Naming a brand can be a difficult, rigorous and often expensive process. The Brand Gap should be outlines some criteria for a good brand name: distinctiveness, brevity, appropriateness, easy spelling and pronunciation and likability. LG Corporation is a leading global conglomerate corporation headquartered in Seoul. LG specializes in electronics, chemicals and telecom products, and in recent year the brand having operations in more than 80 countries globally.

The LG logo is one of the most recognized logos in the electronics market place. The logo comprises of a strikingly innovative corporate identity, featuring the letter “L” and “G” in the form of a human face. The red is the main color in the LG logo, so with the bright color of the logo is help people to remember and identify the brand from all the other brand. Also, with the colors of the LOreal Logo are always change with there different event or season, and there are two color they tend to use more often. They try to use the white color in the LOreal name and it can symbolizes the purity, reliability and charm of the brand, whereas the golden color stands for nobility, honor and self-confidence.
