1.0 Executive Summary

The purpose of this business plan is to raise $50,000 for the development of a courier service while showcasing the expected financials and operations over the next three years. Jmack Courier (“the Company”) is a Prince George  based corporation that will provide local courier and delivery services to customers in its targeted market. The Company was started in 2015 by James Mackean.

1.1 Products and Services

The primary revenue center for the business will come from the local delivery of letters and packages on behalf of individuals and businesses within the target market. The business will generate substantially high gross margins from these services via its 4 delivery trucks. The secondary stream of revenues will come from outsourced courier services from companies like FedEx and UPS that will source the company to deliver packages when their logistics systems have too many packages to deliver. These companies often use third party companies like Jmack Courier to render delivery services to their customer base. The third section of the business plan will further describe the services offered by the Courier Service. 

1.2 The Financing

Mr. Mackean is seeking to raise $50,000 from funding, grants or a business bank loan.  The interest rate and loan agreement are to be further discussed during negotiation. This business plan assumes that the business will receive a 5 year loan with a 9% fixed interest rate.

1.3 Mission Statement

Jmack Courier's mission is to become the recognized leader in its targeted market for local couriering and delivery services. Our mission is to    hire the  people of prince George and surroiunding area between the ages of 15 to 30 who face barriers to finding work such as lack of a high school diploma, disability, live in a remote area, etc.We spark  motivation, confidence in our employees.  

1.4 Mangement Team

The Company was started by James Mackean. Mr.Mackean has more than 10 years of experience owning his own business.. Through his expertise, he will be able to bring the operations of the business to profitability within its first year of operations. 

1.5 Sales Forecasts

Mr. Mackean expects a strong rate of growth at the start of operations. Below are the expected financials over the next three years.
