Unitech is a privately owned firm headquartered in Mumbai .It provides supply chain services to Fast-food quick-serve restaurant system. The operations of the supply-Chain operations team included planning and distribution of promotional items during the assigned time interval. The issues faced by the team were underperformance and low morale. The main problem giving rise to these issues are:

• Leadership: Most managers in the team focussed on accomplishment of short term goals which could help them for their promotions. Their personal interest suppressed the long term strategies that should have been developed for the organisational growth. They were ineffective in handling the team conflicts and differences.

• Structure of the team: In the team the work load and responsibilities were not shared evenly. The efforts of the team were not co-ordinated well and sub groups were formed in the team which would work against each other due to difference in goals.

• Climate of trust: There was a lack of trust and respect among the team members also on their leaders. Knowledge sharing among the team members was rarely there because of the fear of losing the power in the organisation.

• Performance evaluation and rewards: There was rarely any recognition for the strong performances in the team which led to the de-motivation team members. The performance metrics were based on individual performances rather than team performances.

• Communication in team: The grievances of the employees, conflicts, suggestions and feedbacks were never communicated to the managers; even if they were communicated the management would ignore them. There was very scarce team interaction often many interactions led to arguments and business acumen broke due to this.

• Employee satisfaction: There were people in the team who were very efficient and had high career aspirations and were not satisfied with the work delegated to them. Employee career development was never taken into consideration by the management.

The tools and techniques that Jatin should advice Leena to use them to analyse team dynamics as well as the individual team member are as below:
