It is a growing trend that health care institutions focus more on the daily operations and the bottom line rather than on the concerns and needs of their patients and their families. Ensuring there is a smooth transition for all services is extremely important considering the current state of the economy as well as the increase utilization of the emergency room visits. This paper will encompass the proper theories, reasoning, statistical assessment as well as an evaluation designed to research studies specifically for the hypothesis, responses along with my findings.

Thesis Question

“Does members of a particular race utilize the emergency room more than others and is there a specific reason for this occurrence?”

Appropriate Probability Concepts and Your Application of Them to Find Resulting Data to Limit the Uncertainty of this Decision.

A vital aspect of statistical theory is the probability theory, which connects inferential and descriptive statistics together. It is the science of uncertainty, chance or likelihood (Cooper & Schindler, 2008). Emperical, classical and subjective are the three types of probability. In this case, we will concentrate on a combination on subjective probability, which assigns a probability to an event based upon whatever evidence is available and empirical probability, which is based on previous experiences. The increase in emergency room treatment is accredited to the current economic plight, lack of a true emergency and education, or lack of insurance. The locality of the emergency care centers are a vital aspect of the variances of different backgrounds seeking services. The assortment
