My goal for interpersonal improvement for my personal life is that I need to work on not being prejudice to situations because of my past experiences. What I mean by this is to not determine current behaviors based upon past experiences. I know that I still have a ways to go, but I am looking forward to being able to handle situations without having prejudge toward people based on my past incidents. I measure my success by the people that I give a benefit of the doubt .I myself know that I want be able to change overnight but the ability to give a person the benefit of the doubt would be a logical way to change overall.
As an online student the areas I need to work on is time management. I have had a hard time keeping up with scheduled items for school because of working varied hours at work and being a father .I have been working the way I can until I'm doing better with time management . I have created a calendar that displays the due dates of my assignments and allocate enough time to ensure that I don’t wait until the last minute to complete the given assignments. I have had to practice on this for about a month or so with other projects so that it will become a routine for me, but I am also a work in progress. I have also decided to start making progress to complete all of my work that I began instead of having to stop and start an assignment so I try to start all my work a week before the due date. My goal is to be able to control and understand what makes me late with my work.
In my career I would want to work on using minimal information to process and understand the collected information. I am the type of person that will try to figure everything out on my own instead of asking questions. I am working on asking questions that I'm unclear about. I will try to do this for every question I have even if I understand the question I will still ask questions so that I can get in a routine of asking questions. The goal I need to complete is to have a clear understanding of the assignment and if not make sure I ask questions.
