- Behavioral Modeling Training method:
Advantages:
- The cost of behavior modeling is relative low to compare with other training methods.
- Behavior modeling focuses on the real behavior other than theories.
Disadvantages:
- Behavior modeling is the method that lack adequate theory.
- Considering about the nature of behavior modeling is repeating the behaviors, the class may fail to attract enough concentration.
- Role Playing Training method:
Advantages:
- Training becomes lively and interesting.
- Learning retain longer within the participants.
Disadvantages:
- If not perform properly, may turn to a fun; not a learning experience.
- Sometime role play goes to hit or embrace others emotionally and socially.
- Simulated Learning Training method:
Advantages:
- Simulation can improve trainees’ skills and allow them to learn from error.
- Simulation offers trainee participation.
Disadvantages:
- Simulators can be very expensive and require constant updates and maintenance.
- Not every situation can be included.
- Computer-Based Training method:
Advantages:
- Trainees also might feel more comfortable and less shy doing exercises online.
- Flexibility of this method.
Disadvantages:
- It’s a costly method.
- Maintenance of the equipments is another issue.
- Tele conferencing and video conferencing Training method:
Advantages:
- Easy to communicate.
- No need to move from one place to another.
Disadvantages:
- Setup cost high.
- Technical faults.
- EPSS (Electronic Performance Support System):
Advantages:
- Time saving.
- Very much effective.
Disadvantages:
- Instrument cost.
- Setup cost.
- Action Training method:
Advantages:
1. May increase critical thinking skills in students.
2. Enables students to show initiative.
