  • Behavioral Modeling Training method:

Advantages:

  1. The cost of behavior modeling is relative low to compare with other training methods.
  2. Behavior modeling focuses on the real behavior other than theories.

Disadvantages:

  1. Behavior modeling is the method that lack adequate theory.
  2. Considering about the nature of behavior modeling is repeating the behaviors, the class may fail to attract enough concentration.

  • Role Playing Training method:

Advantages:

  1. Training becomes lively and interesting.
  2. Learning retain longer within the participants.

Disadvantages:

  1. If not perform properly, may turn to a fun; not a learning experience.
  2. Sometime role play goes to hit or embrace others emotionally and socially.

  • Simulated Learning Training method:

Advantages:

  1. Simulation can improve trainees’ skills and allow them to learn from error.
  2. Simulation offers trainee participation.

Disadvantages:

  1. Simulators can be very expensive and require constant updates and maintenance.
  2. Not every situation can be included.

  • Computer-Based Training method:

Advantages:

  1. Trainees also might feel more comfortable and less shy doing exercises online.
  2. Flexibility of this method.

Disadvantages:

  1. It’s a costly method.
  2. Maintenance of the equipments is another issue.

  • Tele conferencing and video conferencing Training method:

Advantages:

  1. Easy to communicate.
  2. No need to move from one place to another.

Disadvantages:

  1. Setup cost high.
  2. Technical faults.

  • EPSS (Electronic Performance Support System):

Advantages:

  1. Time saving.
  2. Very much effective.

Disadvantages:

  1. Instrument cost.
  2. Setup cost.

  • Action Training method:

 Advantages:

   1. May increase critical thinking skills in students.

   2. Enables students to show initiative.
