Title : Taking back Hong Kong’s future, By Joshua Wong Chi-Fung

Hong Kong today is fighting for freedom against China. Throughout the past few months, the citizens of Hong Kong has been going through a lot of struggle for the fight of freedom. They have been beaten, taken to prison or attacked with tear gas or pepper spray just for having their own public opinion. The aggregate of individual attitudes or beliefs shared by some portion of the adult population is called public opinion (Bardes, et al, Title - Public opinion, Page - 185). Since 1997 China had the government of Hong Kong under their control and the power of Hong Kong was under their rule. But today the citizens of Hong Kong today have their own individual opinion based on the benefits of their country. Today the citizens of Hong Kong have their own consensus. Consensus is the general agreement among the citizenry upon an issue (Bardes, et al , Title - Consensus, Page 185). The citizens of Hong Kong believe that the political power of their nation should not be under the wealthy and well connected people only, whereas it should be equally shared and the information of the nation should be shared to all with proper followed laws. Today the modern generation has developed vastly which ha changed the way people think today. The citizens of Hong Kong want their future back now and no longer want to stay under the control China because they want a government where the ideas flow freely and a advanced society that every other nation has with equality provided to all the citizens.

Though not everyone ha stye same opinion upon a topic. Divided opinion is a public opinion that is polarized between two different position (Bardes, et al, Title - Divided opinion, Page - 185).
