Les Investments

LES Investments is a project that seeks to provide students with an opportunity to learn the real world application of financial and entrepreneurial concepts. As yet, no other society or department caters to this need. There is no platform where the members of the LUMS community can polish such skills in a more practical setting as compared to the class setting. LES Investments, through this venture aims to fill this very void.

Activity Detail:

LES Investments will be facilitating the Virtual Investment Management Competition (VIMC) which is primarily a virtual investment game designed for students to learn and experience the trading of different investment instruments available across various Financial Markets of Pakistan. This will be conducted with the Lahore Stock Exchange under their Campus Outreach Program and Financial Literacy Initiative. For this an information session is being conducted at the Lahore Stock Exchange on Thursday, 6th February from 11am-1pm. The session will include an introduction to the financial markets, trading basics and competition details. LES will be providing transport facilities to all those who are interested in participating in the competition as the registrations for it will take place at the end of the session and attendance at the session is a prerequisite.
