Perception of the intended user of the app
The intended users of the Ola app are typically those who desire affordable and convenient options for frequent and unplanned intra-city travel. These people typically don’t have access to a vehicle of their own, or don’t want to drive on their own and can’t hire chauffeurs. Given the traffic conditions in most metro cities, this translates to all segments of the society, barring very low income segments and businessmen (these people typically have access to a company vehicle and are unlikely to handle their commute on their own). Cab services like Ola offer this affordable convenience with door-to-door pick up. Ola fulfils these fundamental requirements with its offerings, and aspires to go beyond this and offer luxury experiences as well.
