The idea of quality management is utilized in all sizes and types of organizations. It is applicable in industrialized settings as well as health care or food services. Quality can signify various things for various businesses, and takes looks different contingent on the type of product, service or a mixture of each. The center of quality management is to direct an organization to improve its performance. The three main components to quality management are quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement. An organization cannot just look at the state of the merchandise sold or the quality of offered services but the practices developed to attain reliable quality (Black, 2010).
