Adolescence

Physical

During Adolescence Tasleem had gone through puberty. At this stage many changes will occur in Tasleem’s body. Tasleem also had started her menstrual cycle, this is where she would have her period once a month and have mood swings due to stomach cramps which sometime enable her to walk due to a lot of pain.  

Tasleem developed secondary sex characteristics such as her voice maturing and having more definition and her breast and hips developing.  Tasleem had a rapid increase of her height and weight resulting from the simultaneous release of growth hormones, thyroid hormones and androgens. Tasleem also started growing pubic and underarm hair in this stage of life. Tasleem also increased in sweating and constantly losing and gaining weight during adolescence.

Intellectual

Tasleem entered adolescence still perceiving the world around her. Tasleem thought some things are morally right, some morally wrong, something were awesome or awful. Tasleem didn’t really look into the future neither to do with career wise or relationship wise until the age of fifteen or sixteen this is when Tasleem started concentrating for her exams which made her realise she wanted to become a teacher. Tasleem left school with 13 GSCE’s and went on to study a levels.

Tasleem became very stubborn and her arguing skills improved she demonstrated it often with great passion. Tasleem’s reasoning skills also improved quickly and would question almost every task that was given to her. Tasleem became more focused on her career and set herself personal goals to achieve if anyone would question these personal goal Tasleem would get very aggressive and would question why someone is questioning her. Tasleem started to improve in her decision making skills and was very good at making decision in stressful times. Tasleem also became able to anticipate the consequences of different opinions.
