                                                 EFFECTS OF GLOBAL CRISIS

  The effects of global crisis are seen all over the world. They are also seen in Turkey. These effects are increasing in Turkey day by day. The quality of life is decreasing and people are suffering from this situation. Life styles of people are changing depending on this. There are two types of effects seen on Turkey and these effects are economic effects and social effects.

  Firstly, global crisis affected our country’s economy in a bad way. A lot of firms and factories went bankrupt. Factory owners lost big amounts of money and they became poor people. Manufacture has decreased and it has affected the economy badly. Furthermore, these bankruptcies have also caused unemployment. The huge number of people has become unemployed. This situation has reduced the consumption. The decrease in consumption has reduced the value of money and out country has become a poor country among the other countries.

  Secondly, social life in Turkey is also affected by the global crisis. Factory owners killed themselves because of debts. It affected lots of families’ psychology. Unemployment has caused hunger. Because of that, the number of homeless people has increased. Homeless people started to commit crime to obtain money. The average of murder and crime has increased. In addition, ordinary families has become poor families and this has affected their social activities such as reading book, going to cinema and theatre because they haven’t got enough money to spend on these things. Unfortunately, this problem caused the lack of culture and knowledge on Turkish people and our country has regressed in the cultural sense.

  To sum up, global crisis affected badly every people in Turkey. The quality of Turkish people’s life has increased and our country’s cultural situation has deteriorated among the other countries. In addition to this bad situation, the debts and bankruptcies have increased a lot. In this case, it is time for people to protect themselves from hunger and criminals. Every people in Turkey should consider these crises, take precautions and pay attention to their consumption.
