¿Abortion should be legal?

When does life actually begin? When, if ever, is it right to terminate a pregnancy? It should be a woman choice or it's not up to her? HOOK QUESTIONS

Did you know that in undeveloped countries an estimate of 68000 women die every year as a result of illegal and unsafe abortions? If we add up the millions of women that are left with complications, often permanent, we will have a pretty scary number. An abortion is the medical process of ending a pregnancy so it does not result in the birth of a baby. It is also sometimes known as a 'termination' or a 'termination of pregnancy'. Whether legal or illegal, induced abortion is usually stigmatised and frequently censured and considered an abomination by political, religious or other types of leader. Hence, under reporting is routine even in countries where abortion is legally available Abortion has been a controversial subject for decades; generally there are two opposite sides in this eternal debate, Pro-choice and Pro-life. The first side says that if a woman wants to terminate her pregnancy it’s her choice. Those who are Pro-life see abortion as a murder. Personally, I think that abortion should not only be legalized, but also shame-free because it’s the women body, she is the one that will have to live with the consequences of that unwanted pregnancy. There can be many reasons as to why a woman might have an abortion. It may be due to an unwanted pregnancy, health issues with the mother that will cause her sickness throughout the pregnancy, inability to care for a child, ectopic pregnancy, and even awareness of life threatening illnesses that will not allow the baby to live outside of the womb.
