1. Five weak points that my results showed different things for each day. There were certain things that I know I could improve on for the future which included dairy, vegetables, potassium, zinc and thiamin.

For Dairy I had very low percentages for the days that I analyzed and the reason why is because I was taking antibiotics that prevented me from being able to drink and eat dairy products. Normally I do consume more dairy products such as milk and yogurt. I normally don’t eat a lot of fruit in the morning like it showed but I had to make an alternative breakfast meal for myself because I couldn’t eat dairy. I think if I wasn’t on antibiotics when I did my food tracker it would have had opposite results. I would have had higher percentages in dairy instead of fruit but because of that I found myself eating more of both already. What I missed in vitamins and minerals was calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin B12.

I was expecting to have a low percentage in vegetables because I just don’t like a lot of them. I normally just eat lettuce, potatoes, and sometimes raw carrots. I do try to eat as much of those three that I can. I also try to eat other vegetables but it does not work out well at all. Another vegetable that I do eat occasionally is broccoli but I have to eat it with something. I can’t eat it plain or I get grossed out. From not eating a lot of vegetables I missed out on iron, calcium, and fat soluble vitamins.

Potassium is a mineral that I had a low status in and I was surprised by this because I thought I would be a lot higher. When I read back on what I ate I realized I didn’t eat any bananas which are high in potassium and it is something that I eat all the time. Although, I did eat strawberries it wasn’t enough to raise my potassium levels. Some foods that have potassium are apricots, watermelon, fish, and beef.

Another mineral I was low in was zinc. I think a big reason for this was because I didn’t eat a lot of dairy products for those three days. I also noticed that I didn’t eat a lot of red meat which usually I do. My dad loves steak and sometimes we have that for dinner the whole week and just change up the sides for dinner but ironically I didn’t eat anything like that. Another good food source to get zinc is eggs and I hate eggs. I don’t like the texture, smell, and the way the taste by themselves. For as long as I could remember I never ate eggs until I got older and it was in a potato salad finely chopped up or even devil eggs because it gave it a different taste.

The last weak point in my results was thiamin. I looked online at the top 10 food sources for thiamin and those were not in my diet at all for those three days. I was kind of shocked because a lot of those items listed are things that I love but I don’t know why I
