1. Take two small plants as similar as possible.

2. Put them in two plastic bags A and B.

3. Put some soda lime in bag A. It will absorb carbon dioxide.

4. Leave the plants in the same conditions and test for starch.

The previous answer is not correct.That experiment is conducted to show the phototropic movement of the shoot. Phototropism is the response of the shoot towards light. It always gets attracted to light. To show that the presence of light is necessary fot photosynthesis the different experiment is needed where plant leaf is wrapped in papaer and kept in light.
