Is Cultural Diversity the reason?

Is cultural diversity the reason? A question that keeps my mind in the state of confusion that seeks for an immediate answer.

In this world that we are living, everything does possess diversity. Even us; human persons are distinctive from each other in so many ways. In ability, in attitude, and even in interest we really differ from each other. Hence, each of us is shape and mold from different culture from/of where/which we came from. We are indeed born and nurtured from various environments which manifests/reveals of who we are (today) right now in this standpoint of our lives as part of the society where we belong. When we speak about society, we give several reasons on how and why it exists. Certainly, culture is what every society encompasses.

Does that leave us with the thought that diversity is the reason why/that we experience this kind of catastrophes? Well, we will all find out.

Research indicates that Philippines, is one of the countries that has the large number of ethnic/cultural groups and the Ifugao tribe of Luzon belongs to this hundreds of tribes of the archipelago. A movie that depicts the dilemmas of the two tribes of Ifugao wherein these two tribes are the greatest rivals of who will take over the position of owning the territory that is right for them. The conflict started with a simple misunderstanding until such time, this conflict turns into a battle for survival thus leading the Lidun tribe to take revenge for taking the life of the most important person of their tribe, their “datu”. They wanted to give justice for the death of their “datu”. The Ifugaos believe that if their “datu” was killed by someone, a huge epidemeia will arise on the entire tribe inflicting all the people with diseases.
