This case is about a Company named Stilsim which has been providing quality employees for service. We have been provided with this case so that we will able to find the strength, weakness, threats and opportunities of Stilsim company and help this company to regain its position in the industry.

Industry Overview

When Stilsim Personnel was started, the industry has also changed. Many firms were competing against one another for clients, market share, etc. Escalating internet based jobs has made the competition tougher inside the industry.

Company History

StilSim Personnel was started by Rusty Stillman and Bill Simmons 25 years ago in Capital City. At present Bill runs this Company as a president. His friend Rusty was long gone because of heart attack. Because of its successful services for many years, the company has expanded its workplace in Lakeside and Mountain View. Stilsim has a full set of services to serve the public’s need by providing quality employees.

Current Situation

Stilsim Company has been providing quality manpower for almost 25 years but at present this company is having a tough time. Declining profit, declining employee productivity, and fighting among staffs has made this company fragile. According to Simmons, president of Stilsim Company, billing has been dropping because of competition and internet. The president also states that his original client Bob had also tried few internet projects but he failed because of high price. After meeting Bob, Simmons thinks that it is not the problem of internet for declining profit but there is something else.

The competitor of this company is an old friend or staff named Don Wilson. He has formed his own company specializing in health care position and has growing list of clients than Stilsim Company. According
